Welcome to the SFArtists wiki. This wiki is a sister site to the SFeditors wiki. It is being created in order to further awareness of the wide range of wonderful work that science fiction and fantasy artists are producing. It is meant as a resource for discovery and also as a reference for people who are nominating or voting for artists for various awards in the field.
We are just getting started. Please browse and enjoy, and consider helping with the building process.
Adding an SF Artist
To add an artist here, please start by searching for the artist by name in the search box to the left. Once you are sure a page does not exist, either click on the 'create this page' link in the search results (not found) page, or find another page where you'd like to add them and do so by putting double brackets around their name. Like this: Phil Foglio. Then click through the new link and it will give you a form to create the page.
Every page on this site is editable; simply click on the edit tab at the top of the page. Please be responsible in doing so and understand that content added may be edited by others after you. If you see a page that is missing an edit tab, that page has probably been protected because it was being spammed by anonymous vandals - register or log in to an SFartists user account and you should see an edit tab appear.
Please make sure to add each new SF artist to the Artists Category by putting a defaultsort and a category at the bottom of their page with their respective last and first names put in the appropriate order to list them by last name. You can copy the code out of this Artist Template to start from. Or don't worry about it; other people will be checking over pages added to the wiki and adding such references as necessary.
