Julie Bell

Julie Bell is a fantasy artist and illustrator best known for her fully-realized figures. Julie was the first woman to paint Conan for Marvel Comics, and has received other commissions from Marvel, DC, and Image Comics in addition to major book publishers and advertising companies. She has also done sculpture in addition to her painting. A former competitive body builder, Julie models for and is married to fellow artist and collaborator Boris Vallejo. They live in Pennsylvania.
Julie Bell won the 2009 Chesley Award for Artistic Achievement.
