John Picacio is an American science fiction, fantasy and horror artist. He won both the World Fantasy Award for Best Artist and the Chesley Award for Best Paperback Cover (for James Tiptree Jr.'s Her Smoke Rose Up Forever) in 2005, the Chesley Award for Artistic Achievement in 2006, and the Chesley Award for Best Cover Illustration - Paperback (for Fast Forward 2, edited by Lou Anders) in 2009. In 2007 he received the Locus Award for Best Artist.
